Shared hosting: Koumbit hits the 300 accounts mark

As of January 2009, Koumbit has hit the 300 accounts mark on the self-managed, shared hosting platform, which now hosts 2220 websites, 1020 mailboxes (with 64 Gb of data) 1200 databases and 430 mailing lists. The above graph shows the rapid growth of account creation, from the birth of our organization until November 2008.

The timing of these encouraging figures is highly relevant, since we have just opened our 2nd server cabinet.

Take note that we also host 4 non-Koumbit virtual servers, and currently have a lot of available space to install new units, which we can put online quickly and for a running cost of $30 CAD/month (excluding bandwidth).
