Recent versions of Wordpress, NextCloud, Drupal, Joomla, Moodle, and Spip work well in our shared hosting environment. Other applications that also use php 7.3, 8.1 or 8.2, MySQL and/or Apache and that respect the general norms of a shared hosting environment will also work just fine. In case of doubt, look at what permissions are required by the application. If it needs to have administrator ('root') privileges on the server, then it is not compatible with our service, or with other shared hosting environments.
Finally, some applications request special permissions for certain folders. By default, all of the folders in your shared hosting environment have the permission level 775, the highest level of access that we can provide without compromising security. In no case will Koumbit, or other competent providers of shared hosting, provide the permission level 777 for a directory; nor would any competent programmer require such permissions.
