PHP 8.3 is now available as an option for powering your websites in our self-managed hosting service.
This option may be activated by going to the control panel and changing the type of a sub-domain to "Locally hosted (PHP 8.3)". For more detailed instructions, consult our FAQ.
For those that manage their DNS entries outside of our infrastructure, the following entries may be used: a CNAME record to lb-php83.koumbit.net or an A record to 199.58.80.43.
If you have a site with a TLS certificate (HTTPS), please contact us so that we can update your website's PHP version for you, as you do not have access to the option that changes it. We do not charge for this update.
If your website is currently in php8.1 or 8.2, there is very little risk of this update causing problems. However, if it happened to be the case, it would be easy to roll back.
