Dear friends and colleagues,
You're invited to participate in Koumbit's 9th Annual General Assembly, which will take place Saturday, November 30, 2013. The Assembly will be held in the same place as last year, at Centre Lajeunesse (7378 rue Lajeunesse, Montreal) in suite 201. Participants are asked to arrive at 9am.
This event will allow members and those interested in Koumbit to learn about the past year's activities and to help us plan for the year ahead. The scheduled activities include:
*Introduction of our latest annual report, including financial statements; our goals for the coming year; the budget we'll use to achieve those goals
*Elections to fill eight vacant seats on our Board of Directors. Those who wish to submit their applications are invited to notify us as soon as possible at ca@koumbit.org *Buffet lunch and informal discussions
A more detailed agenda will be sent later in November. In the mean time, please confirm your attendance as soon as possible by replying to this message.
All are welcome. Those wishing to become a member of Koumbit or to renew their membership may do so at the event.
