Koumbit's Infrastructure team would like to inform you of a hardware upgrade that we have done on the main HAG server that handles all of your email.
Checking your email through Koumbit will now be faster! We also hope that this upgrade will help us provide a more stable service.
The two graphs below show disk latency (time that the server needs to wait in order to get data from disks) and usage percent. It is easy to see when the upgrade happened, because it caused a drastic improvement in these stats. This means that our email server is now able to get more data, and faster.
Since we have also changed the main board, which contains the CPU, processing power also increased on the server. The new CPU also offers embedded encryption instructions. This means that programs should be executing faster than before.
