You're invited to participate in Koumbit's 13th Annual General Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. We will begin as of 5pm with a light buffet and informal discussions.
The Assembly will be held at our great new office, at 1833, rue Amherst, H2L3L7 Montreal. Sadly, our office is not currently wheelchair accessible. Our office is accessed at the front via 1 step, and at the back without a step. However the bathroom is down 11 stairs in the basement and is not wheelchair accessible.
This event will allow members and those interested in Koumbit to learn about the past year's activities and to help us plan for the year ahead. The assembly will be preceded by a short introduction to the Morin Code, the assembly's proposed code of decision making.
The schedule for the evening will be approximately as follows :
5pm - Light buffet (free) and informal discussions 6pm - Openning of the assembly; Presentation of the Code Morin; Introduction of our latest annual report, including financial statements; our goals for the coming year; the budget we will use to achieve those goals; Elections to fill up to four seats on our Board of Directors (those who wish to submit their applications are invited to notify us as soon as possible at ca@koumbit.org); Discussions of subjects of interest for Koumbit members (subjects to be announced) 9pm - End of the assembly.
You will receive a copy of the official and more detailed agenda no less than 10 days before the assembly, along with notifications of motions that will be proposed. In the meantime, please confirm your attendance as soon as possible by replying to this message.
All are welcome. Those wishing to become a member of Koumbit or to renew their membership may do so at the event.
