9th Annual General Assembly of Koumbit - 2013

You're invited to participate in Koumbit's 9th Annual General Assembly, which will take place Saturday, November 30, 2013. The Assembly will be held in the same place as last year, at Centre Lajeunesse (7378 rue Lajeunesse, Montreal) in suite 201. Participants are asked to arrive at 9am.

Relancement des Ateliers Populaires du Logiciel Libre!

Bonne nouvelle: Koumbit a pris l'initiative de relancer les Ateliers Populaires du Logiciel Libre à Montréal! Les premiers ateliers depuis longtemps se tiendront aux bureaux de Koumbit, mardi le 9 avril prochain!

Le thème est la relance des ateliers du libre elle-même, et tous les anciens bénévoles et personnes intéressées par le projet sont invités à se joindre à nous, ainsi, évidemment, que les personnes qui sont à la recherche d'un coup de main avec leurs système d'exploitation ou applications libres. Deux travailleurs de Koumbit seront présents pour vous assister.

Koumbit is (finally) holding another of our famous 5@7's! This time, we'll get out from behind our computers (really!) and explore the world of gardening.

There will be no experts on hand - except for you! Everyone is invited to share their knowledge, tips, stories, and practical hints in an open, friendly conversation.

Please, note the change of venue - now, children and people who prefer a wider selection of food and drink are more welcome than ever!

Tomcat, Apache Solr, and Drupal version compatability table

The sysadmins here were doing some software upgrades the other day and asked me which versions of Tomcat and Apache Solr they should install on our shared Drupal hosting servers. The answer is a little complex, so I finally just drew them a diagram.
